EdCo Fulfillment is a third-party logistics facility in Fairview, Oregon, in the Portland metro area. We fulfill crowdfunding campaigns of any size: comics, zines, art books, playing cards, tabletop games, enamel pins, apparel and plush, with per-order pricing instead of monthly minimums. A campaign with 50 backers gets the same treatment as one with 2,000: photographed intake, exact kitting, tracked shipping.

How campaign fulfillment works

  • 1. Your production run ships straight to us. The printer or factory sends the freight to the facility instead of your home. We receive it, count it and photograph every carton the day it arrives.
  • 2. You send the backer survey export. Kickstarter survey, BackerKit or PledgeBox: a CSV with addresses, tiers and add-ons. We reconcile it against the stock on the shelf and flag any mismatch before packing starts.
  • 3. We kit each parcel to its pledge tier. Multi-item rewards (book plus pins plus prints plus the add-ons that backer chose) are assembled per person, verified, and packed to survive the trip.
  • 4. Every backer gets a tracked parcel. Domestic and international, with tracking numbers reported back to you so campaign updates write themselves. Leftover stock stays on the shelf and ships as store orders.

What it costs

Pick & pack from $3.00 per order, additional items in the same order is +$0.50. Receiving is $3.00 per box. Storage is $25 per occupied position per month. No setup fee, no minimum volume, no long-term contract. A campaign is a wave. The wave is paid in advance from our written estimate before the first parcel ships, then reconciled against what actually shipped on the next monthly invoice (contract Section 6.6). Shipping postage is billed at cost, with $0.50 added on a label we generate and nothing on one you send us.

Frequently asked questions

No. EdCo charges per order, not per contract, so a 50-backer zine campaign qualifies the same as a 2,000-backer board game. There is no monthly minimum, no setup fee and no lock-in. If your rewards are physical and legal to ship, the campaign is big enough.
Yes. Kitting is core work here: we receive each component (books, pins, charms, prints, apparel), verify counts against your manifest, and assemble each backer parcel to match their exact pledge tier and add-ons. Every kit configuration is documented before anything ships.
Before your backer survey closes, ideally while your rewards are still in production. That leaves time to route the print or production run directly to the facility, reconcile your survey export, and start shipping the week stock arrives instead of losing a month.

Yes. We ship worldwide with USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL, choosing by destination, weight and your budget. Every parcel, domestic or international, gets tracking that flows back to you. On an international parcel we complete the customs data of the label from the product data you supply (description, tariff line, value and country of origin); you answer for that data and for the duties and taxes of the destination, and EdCo does not act as exporter of record, importer or customs broker.
It stays on the shelf as store stock. Storage is billed at $25 per occupied position per month, and as orders come in from your Shopify, Etsy or Big Cartel store, they ship from the same inventory with the same per-order pricing. Campaign fulfillment rolls into everyday fulfillment without a second onboarding.

Counted and photographed at intake

Each inbound is counted against your packing list and photographed. Any discrepancy is in your portal the day it is found, and the receiving report follows within two business days.

Evidence portal

Immediate access: every inbound receipt with its check-in photograph, every order with the interior shot before it seals and the exterior once sealed, and the storage room temperature log.

Same-day dispatch

Orders received before noon ship the same day. Automatic tracking for your customer.

Published rates

Every charge is on the site before you ask, and the rates you sign at stay yours for as long as your contract remains in effect.
